Meet the 17-Year-Old Founder Empowering India's Youth Through Psychology and Education
At just 17, and currently a Grade 12 student at Suncity School, Gurugram, she isn't waiting for the future to make a difference. She's already creating one. Guided by curiosity, compassion, and the belief that even a single initiative can spark meaningful change, she has dedicated herself to empowering young people through psychology, education, leadership, and social impact.
She is the Founder and CEO of SkillARC Foundation, a youth-led non-profit that has reached more than 500 underprivileged students through workshops on leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and career readiness. Working alongside NGOs, schools, and educators, the foundation focuses on equipping young minds with practical skills for life.
Her passion for mental well-being also led her to launch ZenOut, a startup that aims to make mental health support more accessible through technology-driven solutions designed for young people. Alongside her entrepreneurial work, she has built a strong voice in youth advocacy and psychology as the Founder and Chief Editor of The Mind Chronicle and a contributing writer for Youth Ki Awaaz, where she writes about mental health, education, identity, and the challenges faced by today's youth.
Her journey as a writer now reaches a new milestone with the release of her debut book, Echoes of a Growing Soul, on September 5, 2026. Blending personal storytelling with psychological insights, the book explores themes such as loneliness, family expectations, friendship, academic pressure, anxiety, heartbreak, identity, and healing. Across twelve chapters, it offers readers practical understanding while speaking to them with empathy rather than instruction.
Beyond writing and entrepreneurship, she has gained practical experience through internships at Fortis Healthcare, Artemis Hospitals, Swayam Mental Healthcare Centre, Google, and Google for Education. Her work has also earned recognition through initiatives such as One Million Founders and the Microsoft Imagine Cup.
Leadership has remained a constant throughout her journey. From anchoring large-scale events to serving in senior leadership roles across multiple Model United Nations conferences, she has consistently taken on opportunities to inspire and represent young voices. Her impact has also extended globally through her roles as a Member of Parliament in the World Teen Parliament and a Youth Ambassador with HundrED.
Looking ahead, she hopes to become a neuropsychologist, combining neuroscience, psychology, and education to strengthen adolescent mental healthcare. At the heart of her journey is a simple belief that true leadership is not about climbing higher alone, but about creating opportunities that help others rise alongside you.
