Choreographer Sagar Das Launches Max Studios, Joins Elite League of Choreographers with Their Own Studio

Mumbai’s dance and film fraternity recently witnessed an exciting development as choreographer Sagar Das launched his own professional dance space, Max Studios, marking a significant milestone in his creative journey. With this move, Sagar Das becomes one of the few choreographers in India to establish a dedicated rehearsal and choreography studio of his own.
In the film industry, having a personal rehearsal studio has proven to be a major advantage for choreographers and film producers alike. Renowned choreographers such as Ganesh Acharya.ji and the celebrated duo Bosco Martis and Caesar Gonsalves—popularly known as Bosco-Caesar—have long maintained their own dance rehearsal spaces that serve as creative hubs for choreography and dancer training.
Studios like these allow producers and filmmakers to save cost & rehearse complex dance sequences well in advance of shooting. This ensures better preparation for actors and background dancers, helps choreographers design movements more effectively, and ultimately saves valuable production time on set.
Following the same professional model, Max Studios aims to provide a modern, fully equipped rehearsal space where choreography for films, music videos, and stage performances can be developed and perfected.
The grand inauguration of Max Studios by Ace Bollywood Choreographer Ganesh Acharya.ji saw a strong support from the Bollywood dance fraternity, with several celebrity choreographers and film personalities attending the launch to congratulate Sagar & Radhika Das who also happens to co-owns the studio. The event celebrated not only the opening of a studio but also the growth of an artist who continues to contribute to India’s vibrant dance culture.
