Successful Blood Donation Camp Held at Mantralaya by Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation

Mumbai, March , 2026: In a significant step towards social responsibility and humanitarian service, Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation organized a grand blood donation camp at Mantralaya, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The camp was conducted in association with the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

The primary objective of the initiative was to address the persistent shortage of blood and ensure timely availability for patients, thereby preventing loss of lives. The camp received an enthusiastic response from citizens, youth, social workers, government officials, political leaders, police personnel, and dignitaries.

A total of 174 units of blood were successfully collected during the camp, including Cryo, Platelets, and Plasma. The success of the collection was supported significantly by Ms. Neeta Dange from the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

The entire blood donation process was carried out under the supervision of experienced doctors and trained medical professionals, ensuring safety and adherence to proper protocols. Donors underwent necessary health check-ups and were provided with appropriate guidance.

Founder-President Suraj Suresh Kute, while addressing the gathering, said,
“Blood donation is not just a social responsibility but the highest service to humanity. Even a small effort can give someone a new lease on life. If every individual commits to regular blood donation, the shortage can be eliminated, and it will truly contribute towards building ‘Surajya’.”

The event witnessed the presence of Suraj Kute, Bhupesh Sawant, Sanket Bobde, along with Dr. Christine Swaminathan (President, HWARF), Dr. Smita Gaikwad, Dr. Babina Shaikh, Raizen Swaminathan, Jayesh Oswal, Mohan Vaidande, Vinod Vaidande, Santosh Bhoite, Adv. Vandana Jadhav, and other esteemed dignitaries.

Officials from Mantralaya also participated by donating blood, spreading a strong message of compassion and public service.
